Megan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA, MA, TX, FL - telehealth). Founding Agape Wellness Collective has allowed her to integrate her clinical skills with other natural organizational and leadership skills. A convert to Orthodoxy from Roman Catholicism, Megan is heavily involved in her parish's robust life, serving on the Philoptochos board and frequently volunteering.

Thomas Bonynge
Thomas is a native Californian and a convert to Orthodoxy from nondenominational Protestantism. He has worked the past many years as an architectural drafter, and is shifting his skills of critical thinking, analysis, and strategy into a new field of work to further the mission of Agape.


Thomas Perkins, LCSW, CGP
Group Programming Coordinator
Thomas is a licensed psychotherapist in New York City and part-time student at St. Vladimir's Seminary. He is especially interested in utilizing psychospiritual frameworks that combine theological wisdom and healing with EMDR, CBT, and psychodynamic emotionally-focused therapy.

Dr. Mamalakis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and is an Associate Professor of Pastoral Care at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Boston, MA. He has been heavily involved in many Orthodox ministries over the years, and is a renowned speaker and author.


Lucy Bataneant

Lucy works as the Global Head of Medical Affairs for a startup company. Her business acumen, sharp mind, devotion to the Orthodox Church, and passion for mental health make her invaluable to our Board.
Bishop John Abdalah
Antiochian Diocese of Worcester and New England
Episcopal Liaison, Board Member-at-Large


His Grace Bishop John (Abdalah) was ordained a priest in 1978, and his wife, Kh. Joanne, passed "from death into life" in 2008. In 2011, he was consecrated a bishop by His Beatitude Patriarch Ignatius IV in Lebanon. Since then, he has served by assisting Metropolitan Saba, served as the auxiliary bishop for the Western Rite parishes, he serves on committees for the Assembly of Bishops, and is on the Advisory Board for the Orthodox Christian Association of Medicine, Psychology, and Religion (OCAMPR). He has also been the editor of The WORD Magazine for nearly 30 years. AWC is most grateful to His Grace for his guidance to and his belief in our organization.
